Putting on a Happy Valley Derby Darlins event is no small feat! We deeply appreciate our dedicated volunteers, be they skaters, officials, or folks working behind the scenes. If whistleblowing and time-keeping aren't for you, we'd still love your assistance. If these positions aren't the right fit, email us and tell us what you can do.
Emergency Medical Care
We put safety first, which means that two EMTs or paramedics must be present at every bout. If you're interested, please email us. We offer several perks, including a $5 discount at concessions and free admission for you and your immediate family.
Photography/Videography
Capturing the excitement of roller derby is a unique challenge. Are you up for it? Our photographers are rewarded with on-track access, free entry to bouts and after-parties, and great shots for their portfolios.
Presentation of the National Anthem
We honor our country by presenting the national anthem at every bout. If you have a serious set of pipes—or other musical skills to show off—please get in touch.
Half-time Entertainment
HVDD has a diverse fanbase, so the sky's the limit for half-time shows! If you'd like to promote your group and gain a whole new set of fans, why not partner with us?
Marketing/Graphic Design/Web Design
People are innately curious about roller derby, and we can hardly keep up. If you're skilled at building website content, making flyers and posters, or even pounding the pavement to find sponsors and fans, let us know.
