HVDD takes pride in giving back to our community. In fact, league skaters are required to attend at least 2 events, such as fundraisers and service projects, per quarter. This tradition helps us build compassion, goodwill, and strong ties to our community. These events are also an opportunity to promote the sport of roller derby throughout Utah and the Mountain West.
Beneficiaries
In addition to other charitable efforts, HVDD supports Adopt-a-Highway with cleanups several times a year. We also regularly pick a good cause to support at our bouts. We may donate concessions profits to a local non-profit, offer discounted admission to veterans, or feature our beneficiary at half-time. Attend our next bout to enjoy the derby action and help others in one fell swoop.
